CASA CENOTE IN THE MAYAN RIVIERA, MEXICO!

CASA CENOTE connects one of the largest subterranean systems with the ocean.
This cenote is located 10 km north of Tulum and 70 km south of Playa del Carmen.
The maximum depth is 8 meters.
Due to the connexion with the ocean it is possible to admire some fish like the snook.
Get your group together and we organize this dive for you!

Huge rocks and green algaes growing on the bottom of the cenote decorate this site making it look beautiful to the divers.

There are also small caves around this cenote often used by manatees.

The Yucatan peninsula is like a huge sponge where the water runs through underground caves. It's one of the largest subterranean systems with fresh water in the world.

MAGICAL DIVES IN THE CENOTES, Riviera Maya, Mexico

Have you ever thought about diving in Caverns?
If you are a certified diver and planning a trip to the Riviera Maya a dive in caverns - the CENOTES - is definitely a must-do.
The Cenotes - from the Yucatec Maya dzonot (well) - are crystalline underground rivers and caverns unique to the region.

The visibility in the Cenotes is excellent. The water is very clear, as it comes from rain water infiltrating slowly through the ground, and therefore contains very little suspended particular matter.

The stalactites and stalagmites that form inside the cenotes are true natural works of art.

Beautiful stalactites taken by Ernesto Ortega Profesional Photographer.

Some Cenotes have a halocline, which is where salt and fresh water come together creating fascinating visual effects. In many, holes in the ceiling allow the sunlight to filter into the cenotes, giving the scene a magical feeling.

Don't miss this amazing dive on your next trip to the Riviera Maya.
You will love this experience!

Shipwreck diving in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Diving in a shipwreck is always a little bit strange since in a past those ships were boarded by people and floated on the waters.

Mamá Viña is located in front of the coast of Playa del Carmen - almost in front of the well known park called Xcaret. This formerly shrimp boat was sunk more than 15 years ago.

The maximum depth of this dive is 29 meters or 90 feet and you can see a huge quantity of marine species and corals which made this shipwreck their home.

We recommend this fascinating dive to all experienced divers. You will find some strong currents but also a biodiversity which will make you want to return to this dive spot.

DIVING IN THE REEFS OF PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO.

Diving is one of the activities which is getting more and more popular in the contemporary world.
Besides being lots of fun it's also an activity with a deep sense.
It is known that the planet earth consists of 2/3 of water and we just know a very small part of it...what might be out there in the deep ocean that we don't know yet? Definitely there is life out there, but probably different from what we know so far.

To get to this huge world you need to do a first step, which is to get to know the easily accesible reefs.
Mexico is blessed with beautiful sea grounds which can compete with the most paradisiacal places, this is the case for the Mexican Caribbean where the areas of Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Cancun, Mahahual and Siaan Kan among other places are more and more visited.

To have the paradise very close and not enjoy it would be too bad!
Therefore it's time to get your fins, mask, bcd and visit the Caribbean. The only thing you have to take care of is to have lots of fun, we take care of the rest!
