DIVE or TRICK?

Trick-or-treating is a customary celebration for children on Halloween. Children go in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as candy or sometimes money, with the question, "Trick or treat?" The word "trick" refers to a threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given. In some parts of Ireland and Scotland children still go guising. In this custom the child performs some sort of show, i.e. sings a song or tells a ghost story, in order to earn their treats.

Like in the gold times We are planning to celebrate this Halloween diving with You!!

FIRST QUARTELY MEXICANDIVER UNDERWATER CONTEST- RAMON MAGAÑA

We are happy to announce that RAMON MAGAÑA "Buzofantasma" got 2nd place winner in the first Quartely Mexicandiver UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST in the category of "BEST OVERALL".
Ramón Magaña is a Padi Instructor and part of the staff of PHANTOM DIVERS.
Competition celebrated last January-March after many submissions here are the winners the photos will be publish on the Summer Issue of the Mexicandiver Magazine this coming August 15, 2009. --- Congratulations!!!

Shark Diving in Playa del Carmen

During our last dives in the Playa del Carmen coral reefs, we went to the encounter of several bull sharks. These dives are far from being scare, rather they transport us to an unique show that only nature can give.

On the other side of the common shark dives of the Caribbean sea, our dives are "real encounters" due that we do not carry baits to atract them
